The Schedule

Wednesday Night Schedule: General

We dance Wednesday nights, year-round (see exceptions below) from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with instruction at an elementary level for about the first half hour. We do not dance:

	During certain Jewish religious observances (which we post here--see the contents list in the frame to the left)
	The Wednesday before Thanksgiving
	Certain other holidays if they fall on a Wednesday (e.g., Christmas eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Years Day, Independence Day, etc.
	Bad weather closings are announced on Philadelphia's KYW News Radio (1060 AM) but call or email to be sure.

Workshops and Special Events

From time to time, we mount a special event such as a dance workshop or a special party on a Wednesday night. We occasionally join forces with another folk dance group or the Folk Dance Council to produce such events. We have had many nationally known as well as local visiting leaders, teachers, and musicians.
