The Schedule

Wednesday Night Schedule: General

We dance Wednesday nights, year-round (see exceptions below) from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with instruction at an elementary level for about the first half hour. We do not dance:

	During certain Jewish religious observances (which we post here--see the contents list in the frame to the left)
	During the month of August (this is a change as of 2008; in the past we did not dance the last two Wednesdays of August.
	The Wednesday before Thanksgiving
	Bad weather closings are announced on Philadelphia's KYW News Radio (1060 AM) but call or email to be sure.

In addition, in 2008 we will not dance on Christmas eve or New Years eve, both of which fall on Wednesday

Nov. 26	No dancing - night before Thanksgiving

Dec. 26	No dancing (at least not at Or Hadash!) New Years Eve

Workshops and Special Events

From time to time, we mount a special event such as a dance workshop or a special party on a Wednesday night. We occasionally join forces with another folk dance group to produce such events. We have had many nationally known as well as local visiting leaders, teachers, and musicians.
